Harold T. Kane entered the Heavenly Gates on September 23, 2018 in Lubbock, TX. He was born the oldest of three children to the late Cora and Harold J. Kane June 15, 1937 in Schenectady, NY.
While serving in the U.S. Air Force he met and married Betty Kohler. The couple had a six-pack of kids, fourteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren. Harold was a hardworking man whose main focus was to provide for his family. He worked numerous jobs to make sure his family was taken care of. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, talking to and telling stories to anyone who would listen. He never met a stranger and would do all that he could to help anyone in need. He found great happiness in all of his grandchildren who were his pride and joy. He spent many years as a member of the Church of Christ were he made many long lasting friendships.
Harold is preceded in death by his wife of fifty-two years Betty Kane, siblings; Lynn Jackson and Tim Kane, In-laws; Joe and Opal Kohler, Wes Jarrett, Bob and Emma Jean Summers, and nieces; Kelly, Karen and Melissa.
He is survived by his children the “six pack”; Candy Kane-Bailey and husband Bob of Roswell, NM, Joe Kane and wife Amy of Guymon, OK, Chuck Kane of wife Patricia of Woodrow, TX, Terri Jarrett of Post, TX, Shawna JaQuess and husband Rodger of Post, TX and Sarah Flowers of Stanton, TX.
Grandchildren and great grandchildren; CJ and Kelly Pate, Halie, Kacey and Augustus Pate; Misty and Manuel Avalos, Isaiah, Isaac, Isavier Hernandez, and Addalyn Avalos; Carson Kane, Camry Kane, Angela Davis and husband Daniel, Abby, Maverick and Laney Davis; T.C., Whitney and Kody Kane, Matthew Kane; Wes, Traci, Amity and Kalvin Jarrett, Deidra Jarrett, Mallory and Maci Caballero, Ashely, Roman, Keyton, Branson and Brynn Taylor; Cora Crane and Matthew Jefferson, Mylie Burleson, Nyla Jefferson, Toni Watt and Jake Perez, Eli and Olivia Perez, and Alika and A.B. Flowers.
In-laws; Bobbie Pate and husband Curt of Oklahoma, Kenny Kohler and wife Carol of New Mexico, Mary Kane of Oregon, close cousin Chuck Lake and wife Dolly of Florida, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
